Letters to the Editor - Recycle 100% of glycol at Green

Providence Journal Bulletin

Regarding the Feb. 4 editorial "Stop stalling the airport'': This praised the new run-off collection system for glycol that officials say will improve collection of glycol from the current 35-45 percent to 60 percent at T.F. Green Airport.

Why 60 percent?

It should be 100 percent like many U.S. airports. Narragansett Bay and all the wildlife and any person who swims in it or nearby streams deserve 100 percent recycling of glycol. Buckeye Brook deserves 100 percent recycling. The fish do, too.

I thank the Warwick City Council. Ask for 100 percent recycling.
